We use various highlighting techniques, including balayage, to conjure up natural highlights and streaks in the hair.

Like so many great fashion and beauty trends, the balayage technique also comes from France. The word balayage comes from the French verb "balayer", which roughly means "sweep, wipe" and refers to the freehand colouring technique.

Balayage transforms the hair into a vibrant and natural canvas. Unlike conventional highlighting techniques, where we section off individual sections of hair, colour them from root to tip and wrap them in foil, we work on the hair freehand with a brush. Individual strands of hair are brushed with colour, similar to a sweeping motion. This freehand colouring technique makes the highlights look particularly natural and harmonious.

In this way, we can create colour mixtures of varying intensity and adapt them to the individual wishes of our customers. We can also create a sun-kissed look with delicate baby highlights, which not only looks natural but is also very easy to care for. To emphasise the baby highlights even more and enhance the effect of the highlights, we can style light beach waves to create a balayage look.

Another advantage of the balayage technique is that we leave the roots largely untreated. We apply the strands along the length and especially at the ends and most heavily in the areas that frame the face. This allows us to achieve great contouring effects. The transitions are smooth and the hair can be parted as desired without having to constantly re-colour the roots. With our balayage techniques, it is even possible to create volume in the hair - this is particularly interesting for women with thin hair.

Another freehand colouring technique is ombré. Here we create a special colour effect in the hair with dark roots and light ends. We can make the contrast softer or stronger as desired. We use the so-called sombre technique for this. By colouring the ends of the hair lighter, we create a fresh look and the hair appears lighter overall. We can also apply the ombré look in reverse - i.e. light-coloured roots and dark tips - in which case we talk about the so-called "reverse ombré" or "two-tone look".

We also use a combination of the freehand balayage technique and the precise foil technique, known as foilaye. Like so many great fashion and beauty trends, the balayage technique also comes from France. The word balayage comes from the French verb "balayer", which roughly means "sweep, wipe" and refers to the freehand colouring technique.

Balayage transforms the hair into a vibrant and natural canvas. Unlike conventional highlighting techniques, where we section off individual sections of hair, colour them from root to tip and wrap them in foil, we work on the hair freehand with a brush. Individual strands of hair are brushed with colour, similar to a sweeping motion. This freehand colouring technique makes the highlights look particularly natural and harmonious.

In this way, we can create colour mixtures of varying intensity and adapt them to the individual wishes of our customers. We can also create a sun-kissed look with delicate baby highlights, which not only looks natural but is also very easy to care for. To emphasise the baby highlights even more and enhance the effect of the highlights, we can style light beach waves to create a balayage look.

Another advantage of the balayage technique is that we leave the roots largely untreated. We apply the strands along the length and especially at the ends and most heavily in the areas that frame the face. This allows us to achieve great contouring effects. The transitions are smooth and the hair can be parted as desired without having to constantly re-colour the roots. With our balayage techniques, it is even possible to create volume in the hair - this is particularly interesting for women with thin hair.

Another freehand colouring technique is ombré. Here we create a special colour effect in the hair with dark roots and light ends. We can make the contrast softer or stronger as desired. We use the so-called sombre technique for this. By colouring the ends of the hair lighter, we create a fresh look and the hair appears lighter overall. We can also apply the ombré look in reverse - i.e. light-coloured roots and dark tips - in which case we talk about the so-called "reverse ombré" or "two-tone look".

We also use a combination of the freehand balayage technique and the precise foil technique, known as foilaye. We first work on individual strands with a brush and then use the foil technique to create particularly light-coloured accents at the ends.
